FSM4503 (Week 1)

HELLO!

Glad to introduce myself as Nurul Humaira binti Hasan, so just call me Maira for short. I'm 99's princess born in Johor Bahru, Johor. Now I'm currently studying in Universiti Putra Malaysia, taking my degree in Bac. of Foodservice & Management for 4 years and now I'm in my second year. Initially, this blog is meant to be my personal blog, but since I enrolled in Information System in Foodservice course, I turned this blog for education purpose.

Thus, for the first entry today, I'm itching to meet my new lecturer, Dr. Fareed who will be in charge for this course. For your information, Dr. Fareed used Facebook as a main platform to interact with his students and to assign new assignments. Personally for me, I think that's quite interesting and very captivating because I've never thought of Facebook as a medium to serve education materials. From this class, I learnt lots of new things, especially on how to develop a website (we're mainly using Wix in this class).

Next, we also have CIP-UPM project for this Information System in Foodservice course. The aim of this project is to identify any food-related companies without websites and assist them to design, develop and execute their websites within 14 weeks of the entire semester. There will be 2 phases for this project.

Phase 1 - Website design and development.

Phase 2 - Website execution and feedbacks.

During Week 1, we are assigned to find group members of 4 to 5 students. Then, establish a company and come out with an eye-catching name. Next, we need to sign up company email. Therefore, after a few discussions with my groupmates, we chose "Bloom Innovation" as our company's name. Attached below is my company logo, along with our one and only tagline, "Your Dreams Our Priority".
